These letters have been sent to the County this year to oppose several areas of the current 2015-2023 Housing Element of the Marin Countywide Plan, including a) the overreach of the number of units in the current proposal from the Planning Commissions, b) the imposition of the Affordable Housing Combining District (AHCD) designation on the Seminary property, and c) several far reaching proposals.

On behalf of the Strawberry Community, these letters were sent to oppose the Seminary’s inclusion in the Housing Element passed last year.
These letters were sent by private Strawberry neighbors to the County Board of Supervisors on 8/30/13, requesting delays to the actions planned for 9/10/13 re: the Housing Element vote. These opinions and requests are the personal perspective of these citizens, who are not acting in a hired, professional capacity, but as members of the Strawberry community.
